ECE Assistant Professor Fatih Sarioglu has received a National Science Foundation CAREER Award for his research project entitled “Feedback-Controlled Microfluidic Chips with Integrated Sensor Networks for Blood Analysis.”
Ayanna Howard was one of five extraordinary women featured in the TechMAKERS initiative during the 2018 South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference in Austin, Texas.
“This paper presents the first reported integrated circuit which implements reinforcement learning at less than a milli-Watt. This can enable a wide variety of applications in autonomous and bio-mimetic systems.”
