The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Faculty Development has announced that Nazanin Tork will assume the role of assistant director of Graduate Studies.
"Nazanin has a proven track record of excellence in recruiting, both within the United States and abroad," said Marla Bruner, director of Graduate Studies. "It’s this kind of experience, combined with her enthusiasm, that will be an asset to Graduate Studies as we continue to grow our recruitment efforts and the support programs that we offer for graduate students."
In this role, Tork will serve as deputy to the director of Graduate Studies, and oversee graduate student support services and institute-level recruitment.
Most recently, Tork served as associate director of admissions for Agnes Scott College, where she oversaw recruitment efforts. Prior to this, she served as director of partner admission for Auburn Global in Auburn, Ala. From 2012 to 2015, Tork served as the director of international graduate admissions for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Tork has a bachelor's in Psychology and a master’s in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Cincinnati.
