Shoufeng Lan received a Materials Research Society (MRS) Graduate Silver Award at the 2015 MRS Meeting, held November 29-December 4 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Lan is a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), where he is advised by ECE Associate Professor Wenshan Cai. Lan’s research on electronically controlled nonlinear metamaterials has led to a number of articles in high profile publications such as Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and Nano Letters.
