Current students and alumni from Georgia Tech are part of a team at AccelerEyes, which has been chosen as a finalist in the business launch competitions sponsored by the Georgia Research Alliance/Technology Association of Georgia. AccelerEyes builds software for powerful visual computing.
ECE alumni John Melonakos and James Malcolm, current ECE Ph.D. student Tauseef ur Rehman, and current College of Computing Ph.D student Gallagher Pryor are all affiliated with the Minerva Research Group, which is led by ECE Professor Allen Tannenbaum. Team members also include David Silver, an MBA graduate of Georgia Tech, and Emory University law students Matt Nesbitt and Chris Meeks.
AccelerEyes members participate in the Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER®) program, a collaboration between Georgia Tech and Emory Law School that is nationally recognized for its success at developing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
