ECE Ph.D. student Saiful Alam won the Best Poster Award at the 2016 European Materials Research Society Spring Meeting, held May 2-6 in Lille, France.

The UMI-Georgia Tech-CNRS, an international research lab based in Metz, France at Georgia Tech-Lorraine (GTL), has successfully completed a process demonstration on the new Aixtron MOCVD system by growing a variety of III-nitrides and device structures.

Lillian Anderson is the 2020 recipient of the Helen Grenga Outstanding Woman Engineer Award, which is chosen by the Women in Engineering (WIE) program at Georgia Tech.
