ECE Ph.D. student Mohammad Alhassoun won the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on RFID 2018, held April 10-12 in Orlando, Florida.

ECE Ph.D. students Chia-Lin Cheng and Luong N. Nguyen won the Best Poster Award at the IEEE International Conference on RFID 2018.

ECE Ph.D. alumnus Francesco Amato, currently at the University of Rome, was named the recipient of the inaugural Clive Hohberger Technology Award by the Advancing Identification Matters (AIM) industry organization.
