An ECE student team – consisting of Francesco Amato, Christopher Peterson, and Muhammad Bashir Akbar – won the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE RFID-TA 2015 Conference, held September 16-18 in Tokyo, Japan.
A team from the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) was presented with the third-place prize at the 2020 Bell Labs Prize, a competition that recognizes disruptive innovations that will define the next industrial revolution.
ECE Ph.D. alumnus Francesco Amato, currently at the University of Rome, was named the recipient of the inaugural Clive Hohberger Technology Award by the Advancing Identification Matters (AIM) industry organization.
