A group of Georgia Tech students from the IEEE Power & Energy Society aim to improve access to clean, reliable power at a remote health center in one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere, using a solar-based microgrid.

NEETRAC Senior Research Technologist Raymond C. Hill received two awards at the IEEE Power and Energy Society Protective Devices Committee meeting, held April 30-May 3, 2018 in Clearwater, Florida.

NEETRAC is an electric energy-focused, industry-supported center located in Forest Park, Georgia. The Center is part of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary on October 27.
