ECE's Nelson Lourenco, Reza Pourabolghasem, and Dogancan (Can) Temel were chosen for Sigma Xi Best Ph.D. Thesis Awards, which were presented at the Georgia Tech Sigma Xi Awards Banquet on April 18.

ECE Ph.D. student Chris Coen was chosen for the inaugural NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship Program.

ECE Ph.D. student Zachary Fleetwood has received the 2015 IEEE Bipolar/BiCMOS Circuits and Technology Meeting (BCTM) Best Student Paper Award.

ECE Professor John Cressler will receive the 2020 Outstanding Educator Award from the IEEE Atlanta Section at a virtual banquet hosted by the group on November 10.

A collaboration among the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), the Aerospace Corporation, and the Georgia Tech SiGe Devices and Circuits Group was awarded the Outstanding Paper Award at the 2019 Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC).

ECE Ph.D. student Hanbin (Victor) Ying received the Best Student Paper Award at the 2019 IEEE BiCMOS and Compound Semiconductor Integrated Circuits and Technology Symposium (BCICTS).
