Nahom is quite possibly the best distance runner in Georgia Tech history. He became the first Georgia Tech student-athlete since 1994 to be named an all-American in cross country.

It may have taken him five tries to make it, but Spencer finally achieved his goal of being admitted to Georgia Tech.

Jordan Harvey-Morgan majored in math at Spelman and is now receiving her degree in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Five ECE faculty members and six ECE students were honored at Georgia Tech awards programs held during the month of April. 

On April 10, the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) held its 18th annual Roger P. Webb Awards Program, which honors the students, staff, and faculty who have shown exceptional dedication to their professions and studies.

Six ECE employees were honored with 10-Year Service Awards at the 2019 Faculty & Staff Service Recognition Luncheon, held on April 18 at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel. 

Robert Butera, associate dean for Research & Innovation in the College of Engineering, was honored with the ANAK Award at the 2019 Georgia Tech Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon.

ECE Ph.D. student Ananda Samajdar won the silver medal at the ACM Student Research Competition (SRC), held at the 24th ACM International Conference on Architectural Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems (ASPLOS).
