This seed grant program was developed to expedite the initiation of new graduate students and research projects into productive activity. Successful proposals will identify a new, currently-unfunded research idea that requires cleanroom access.

Undergraduate Research Ambassadors

Although construction won’t begin until the spring semester of 2017, students have been working since 2015 to design the Solar Home at Georgia Tech that will be entered in the next Department of Energy Solar Decathlon.

Bonnie Ferri has been named as the recipient of the 2017 IEEE Undergraduate Teaching Award. Ferri will be presented with this award at the IEEE Frontiers in Education Conference, to be held October 18-21, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
