Chenyun Pan won a best paper award at the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED), which was held March 19-21 in Santa Clara, Calif.

Four employees and five students from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering received top Georgia Tech honors at the Institute’s annual Faculty/Staff Honors Luncheon on April 12 and at Student Honors Day on April 19.

Saibal Mukhopadhyay has been named as one of 26 professors from across the U.S.–and the sole winner from Georgia Tech–to receive a 2012 Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award.

All ECE undergraduate students must attend one of these advising sessions, except for seniors graduating between Spring 2012 through Summer 2013, students now enrolled in ECE 3040, and students off-campus for co-op assignments & internships.

Two teams with ECE students are finalists in the 2012 InVenture Prize Competition.

Eleven ECE faculty members will receive the Class of 1934 Course Survey Teaching Effectiveness Award from the Georgia Tech Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning on March 15.
