Career Fair Information for ECE Students
Attending career fairs is a wonderful opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers and
leave an impression as you explore job and internship opportunities.
Find the internships, co-ops, and career paths that align with your interests and goals in CareerBuzz.
Identify the skills and qualifications companies are looking for. Then come prepared to
meet representatives from companies that are eager to hire ECE students.
Students are encouraged to attend to maximize networking opportunities and to have exposure to a wide range of employers.

McCamish Pavilion

Student bag drop-off is available at the Byers Tennis Complex, located across from McCamish Pavilion
Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle to refill at the water fountains located throughout the concourse at McCamish Pavilion
How can I prepare for the Fair?
Attend Workshops – Available via ECE & the Career Center
Refer to GT Career Center Resources – For Undergraduates | For Graduate Students
Research Companies – Know what they are looking for, and who to talk to
Develop Questions – Demonstrate your interest with thoughtful questions
Practice your Elevator Pitch – Be ready to introduce yourself confidently and concisely
Bring your BuzzCard – You will need it to check in at the registration desk
Bring Copies of Your Resume – Have several printed and ready to share
Dress in Business Attire – Suites, or blouse and slacks or the equivalent. (Shorts and T-shirts are NOT permitted)
Rest up and show up as your best self – A good night’s sleep and a deep breath go a long way!
