ECE Associate Professor Ying Zhang and ECE Ph.D. student Zongyang Xia have received a TechConnect National Innovation Award, which was presented last week in Washington, D.C. at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference and Expo. 

Ying Zhang was awarded a 2012 Lockheed Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award earlier this spring.

ECE Assistant Professor Ying Zhang has received an NSF CAREER Award to support her research project, "Adaptive Power Management for Supercapacitor-Operated Sustainable Wireless Sensor Networks."

Wang and Lizzo’s winning research projects are part of the Opportunity Research Scholars’ (ORS) program in ECE.

Ying Zhang has been appointed as the senior associate chair for the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), effective August 1, 2021.

Four faculty members from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) received top Georgia Tech awards.

In 1988, the School of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology hired Bonnie Ferri as its first female faculty member. The School now has 13 women in its faculty ranks.

Three Georgia Tech ECE faculty members have been awarded promotion and/or tenure, effective August 15, 2019.

Devleena Das was presented with the Helen Grenga Outstanding Woman Engineer Award at the 2019 Women in Engineering Awards Banquet, held on April 11 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.
