The Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate programs were ranked in the top seven in the 2026 U.S. News and World Report rankings.

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate programs are among the best in the United States, according to the 2026 U.S. News and World Report Best Graduate Programs lists.
Computer engineering came in at fifth, and is second among public universities. Electrical engineering is ranked seventh, and is fourth among public universities.
The College of Engineering graduate program is ranked fourth overall for the third consecutive year, tied with Purdue University. It is second among public universities.
“These rankings are a testament to the innovative research and work being done by our faculty and students,” Steve W. Chaddick School Chair Arijit Raychowdhury said. “We are proud of the progress we have made and look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of our field.”
