The Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) continued to rank among the best programs in the country in the latest U.S. News and World Report Undergraduate rankings.

Electrical engineering came in at third, moving up one spot from last year’s rankings, and placing as the second-highest public school program. It is also the program’s second-highest placement ever.

Computer engineering ranked sixth, making it the third among public schools.

“These rankings are a reflection of the high-quality and hands-on education students receive at ECE,” said Arijit Raychowdhury, the Steve W. Chaddick School Chair for ECE. “With access to advanced tools like the AI Makerspace and direct engagement with leading employers, we’re advancing our mission to develop engineers who are ready to lead in tomorrow’s tech-driven society.”

Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering tied its highest-ever ranking, coming in at third overall and the top public engineering program.
