Four faculty members in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) have been awarded promotion and tenure, effective July 1, 2026.

Professors Larry Heck and Karthikeyan Sundaresan have been awarded tenure. Pan Li and Shaolan Li have been promoted to associate professors with tenure.

“Promotion and tenure recognize not only individual excellence but also the collective strength of our School,” said Arijit Raychowdhury, Steve W. Chaddick School Chair. “Larry, Karthik, Pan, and Shaolan continue to raise the bar in research, education, and innovation. Their work reflects the ambition and impact that define ECE, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone with them.”
