At the 2017 Earth Day celebration, hundreds of people will receive T-shirts that they'll wear on campus for years to come — and they could be sporting your design.
The Earth Day planning committee is holding a design contest for this year's T-shirt around the theme "One World Together." The winning designer will earn $500.
Full design criteria is available on the Earth Day website, and the deadline for submission is Sunday, Nov. 27, at 11:59 p.m. In addition to T-shirts, the artwork will be featured on other promotional materials for the event.
Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff, alumni and retirees are all invited to participate. Visit the Earth Day website for more information.
The 2017 event will take place on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tech Walk.
