Daniela Staiculescu has been promoted to the rank of Senior Academic Professional in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). Her promotion was effective on July 1, 2019.
A member of the ECE Graduate Affairs Office since 2012, Staiculescu is involved in most aspects of the School’s graduate students’ careers, from matriculation to graduation. She advises all Ph.D. students in ECE, manages the Ph.D. comprehensive exam, and leads Ph.D. program improvements.
Previous to working in the ECE Graduate Affairs Office, Staiculescu worked as a research engineer in both ECE and the School of Materials Science and Engineering. She is a two-time ECE alumna, graduating with her master of science degree in ECE in 1999 and her Ph.D. in 2001. Staiculescu graduated with her bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (Romania) in 1993.
