As you return to campus for what may be the first time in several months, you’ll find much that is familiar. You will also see a lot of new signs around campus, all related to safety measures for the Georgia Tech community.

These signs encourage preventive behaviors and serve as reminders to remain cautious during the coronavirus pandemic.

Wash Your Hands: These signs will be installed in bathrooms around campus.

Room Closed: You may find this sign if a room needs to be disinfected or has not been properly set up for physical distancing.

Elevator Occupancy: Be mindful of who else is in an elevator when you enter and whether you are going to exceed the designated capacity.

Room Occupancy: Most rooms have been evaluated for how many people can occupy the space and still maintain physical distancing. Please take a look at how many people should be in a room under these new guidelines.

Bathroom is Occupied: Some bathrooms that have multiple stalls should now only be occupied by one person at a time to maintain physical distancing.

Wearing a Face Covering: Face coverings are required indoors on campus, but you will see signage that explicitly identifies some areas where masks should not be removed.

Enter/One Way: Directional signage will be on site in some places to avoid having people pass each other in close proximity. Look out for these directions and be sure you are following the designated flow of traffic.

Note: If you would like to install signage in your area, learn more and download available resources
