Mark A. Davenport and Hua Wang have been selected for the 2015 Lockheed Dean's Excellence in Teaching Awards. Both Davenport and Wang are assistant professors in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).

The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding educators from among the untenured junior faculty from the Georgia Tech Schools of Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the College of Computing.

Award recipients are selected for extraordinary effectiveness in classroom teaching, educational innovations, inspiration transmitted to students, direct impact and involvement with students, and impact on the postgraduate success of students. Davenport and Wang will be honored at an awards ceremony with Lockheed Martin later this spring.
