ECE faculty and staff work tirelessly to increase interest in research and educational opportunities beyond the undergraduate years and are especially interested in recruiting more women and minorities to the field. Valuable, hands-on experiences are available through the following programs:

• SURE-The Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering/Science Program at Georgia Tech is a 10-week summer research activity designed to attract qualified minority students into engineering and science graduate studies.
• SURE Robotics is a National Science Foundation-supported 10-week summer research program for junior and senior level undergraduates from U.S. institutions.
